The most known denition of
Anfo is the mixture of % 94 w/w prill porous ammonium nitrate and % 6 w/w diesel oil and manufactured in Anfo plants. It is booster-sensitive group of explosives. The quality and performance of it is, mostly depended on the quality of ammonium nitrate quality and technical specication of it. The Anfo is not water-resistant explosive. So it is used only in dry blasting holes. In wet holes, the water level is rst charged with water resistant explosives and then rest dry part of hole is charged with anfo. The usage of anfo by lling in to the polyethylene lm and located to the blasting holes is not correct and convenient method. Anfo mostly charged to the medium and large diameter holes. If there is necessity to use of anfo in small holes then, as the initiating explosive of detonating cord is anfavorable. Anfo is generally used as bottom or column charge in the holes. Due to its free owing property, anfo is well distibuted in the dry holes and ensure optimum hole charging. The anfo, possible as an alternative way, is charged to the blasting holes via by anfo charging trucks and pressurized air driven machines . The charged anfo by machines and anfo trucks is ensured high energy blasting and eects the performance in positive way. According to the this property of anfo, its usage in horizantal drilled holes under the diameter of 45 mm is not convenient.

● Canal formation blastings,
● In particular blasting applications as an bottom
and column charge.

Detonating Cord
The detonating cord is the explosive and is mostly applied for the initiation of cap sensitive explosives, in the surface connection of non-electric detonators, particular applications, splitting and presplitting applications. According to the type of application, there are many dierent core loads like 5 g/m,10 g/m, 20 g/m and 80 g/m. It has PETN as core load that has 7000 m/s detonation velocity. It is looked like as safety fuse. The RDX and PETN are used as core loads and this core is grapped with cotton or PVC yarn and coated with PVC to made it water resistant. It is resistant to heat and shock energy, static electricity and water.

Ignition and Cautions;
The direct use of detonating cord for ignition of cap-sensitive explosives is used by inserting of it in to dynamite cartridge or by xture tightly on to the dynamite by tie. The burning rate of detonating cord is so high and it can be blasted without any delay and its ignition is generally started with electrical detonator. If delay is necessary during blasting, it can be achieved by delay relays. Its burning is as detonating. When necessary its cut with knife should be done with razor's edge by avoiding more friction during cutting and the cutting should be done by some angles.

Emulsion Explosive
The emulsion explosive is a appropriate
mixture of ammonium nitrate, wax, oil, emulsier oil and water. The eects of the emulsion explosives are well designed to do same function as nitroglycerinebased dynamite and have no contagion to human body like nausea and headache. It is used for ring of booster-sensitive explosives in underground, open mines and quarries in dry and wet blasting holes for breaking of rocks The evolved gas volume and pressure after blasting of emulsion explosive is almost same with dynamites. The area after blasting should be ventilated well.

Electrical Detonator ( Delay, instantaneous and Ordinary )
The electrical detonators are used in the ignition of cap-sensitive explosives and consist of chemicals like PETN and ASA. They have aluminium and copper shells,delay and instantaneous and 1,5 m and 2.5 m copper cable lengths types according to the application areas. Due to applications, the delay or instaneous, the copper and aluminium shell types could be preferred. With the convienent selection of type of detonator, good results can be obtained in blasting. It is easy to use, cheaper and wide range of delay options. The detonators should not exposed to friction, impact, static discharge and ame.It should be stored in dry, indoor magazines in room temperatures and kept in their original packages.

Dinamit
Dynamites are used for ring of
booster-sensitive explosives in underground, open mines and quarries in dry and wet blasting holes for breaking of rocks.It has nitrogliserine based chemicals within. It has high detonation velocity and might cause to nausea and headache in contact with it. The area after blasting should be ventilated well.

Emniyetli Fitil
Safety fuse is manufactured by
wrapping of black powder core with cotton and then PVC coating. PVC is ensured the resistance to water and protect fuse to the mechanical abrasion and impacts. It is mostly ignited with ordinary detonator No: 8. It is the alternative way for nonelectrical ignition method.

Ignition and Cautions;

It has normally burning rate of 90-120 s/m. Getting humidity of product,stored very long time in magazines, inappropriate storing and using conditions may result dierent burning time rate. In rst ignition, delay time can be assigned by the length of fuse. First part of the fuses can have a possibility to get humidity, so this 15 cm part should be cut away and then use . The edge of the fuse should be cut with right angle and at. It is mostly used with ordinary detonator by inserting the edge of the fuse to inside of the detonator and then squashing the tail of the detonator with proper pincers.

MANUFACTURING FACILITIES
The subjects of operation of our facilities are producing and storing explosives. In this context, the production can be grouped in four dierent categories:
• Shotgun shell
• Blank cartridges
• Anfo
• Firework
Latest technology production machinery were imported from Italy and USA for shotgun shells, blank cartridges and anfo production and the highest quality raw materials were provided from national resources and foreign countries. Our team, experts in their elds, has continuously been improving themselves by training and research. Research & Development studies are signi- cantly being followed by R&D team. Next to our production facility, we have 3 explosive storages of 100 tons each to store the production and the raw material. Our facilities were established on 425 decare open eld and were comprised of 13 buildings including 4 manufacturing plants, 3 storages and the other buildings. Our facilities are the largest facilities in Turkey for the time being in which various explosives were produced.
